Event: News conference to announce an emergency preparedness partnership between American Red Cross Mid-Michigan Chapter and Emergent BioSolutions

Purpose: American Red Cross Mid-Michigan Chapter, Emergent BioSolutions and locals responders are leading the local preparedness effort. The partnership connects the resources of Emergent with the mission of the American Red Cross-- to be prepared for local disasters or emergencies.

Details: Emergent will announce a large donation to American Red Cross as part of its commitment, along with plans to conduct blood drives and train employees in CPR and first aid.
