Its' a solemn day all across America as we pause to remember the lives lost and the heros who were born on Sept. 11th, 2001.

All across Michigan flags have been lowered to half staff.

Governor Jennifer Granholm has ordered that flags be lowered on Thursday to remember those who died in the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks.

The governor also urged people to observe a moment of silence Thursday morning.
