Time for Tigers to Play Ball
Lakeland, Florida
The Detroit Tigers pitchers and catchers are reporting to training camp today in Lakeland, Florida, to get ready for a season with sky high expectations. Manager Jim Leyland now has a more talented team than ever with the offseason acquisition of All-Stars Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis. It's hard to find to find an easy out in the lineup or a glaring
hole in the field. The pitching rotation appears to be solid, and the only problem
could be the bullpen, with Joel Zumaya out for at least half the season.
Leyland is entering his third season as Detroit's manager.
