Deputies are saying that alcohol was involved in an accident that left the Shiwassee County Prosecutor injured Tuesday afternoon.

Officials are not saying whether Prosecutor Randy Colbry or the other man involved in the crash were drinking.

They tell us it happened Tueday around 3 p.m. at the corner of M-21 and Vernon Road in Venice Township.

They say that's where the prosecutor's car hit the vehicle driven by a 55-year-old man from Owosso.

Colbry is recovering from his injuries, the other man left the scene uninjured.

The Attorney General will review the case.
