3 dead of smoke inhalation in Ann Arbor house fire
Comments 0 | Recommend 0ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say smoke inhalation is the preliminary cause of death for three people who died in a house fire in Ann Arbor.
The fire was reported early Sunday and destroyed the home. The bodies of Demetri and Joanna Alexandropoulos and their 42-year-old son John Alexandropoulos were found in the rubble.
AnnArbor.com reports John Alexandropoulos also had a brain hemorrhage but it's unclear whether it occurred before or during the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Ann Arbor Assistant Fire Chief Ed Dziubinski says the house didn't have a sprinkler system and investigators have found no evidence it had smoke detectors.
