Police have identified the cause of death of the body found behind the Volunteers of America office in Lansing.

Officials tells ABC 3 News the man was found with multiple stab wounds. They say the man was homeless and is in his 50's but are not releasing his name.

Lieutenant Noel Garcia of the Lansing Police said, "Tomorrow by the end of the day we to have a warrant and arraignment on the suspect in this case for open murder."

Officials have a 43-year-old homeless woman in custody but still have several witnesses to interview.
