Brighton man arrested in Indiana in Clinton County slaying

LANSING, Mich. (AP) - A Brighton man has been arrested in Indiana in connection with the slaying of a 63-year-old Clinton County man.

The Clinton County prosecutor's office has issued a warrant for the arrest of the 37-year-old Brighton resident and is working to have him returned to Michigan.

His name is being withheld pending an arraignment on a murder charge.

Bernard George Koziel died of blunt force trauma. His body was found last week outside his DeWitt Township home, about 10 miles north of Lansing.

Michigan State Police say the man was arrested in the Indianapolis area after they received a call about Koziel.
