Delta Township Residents Speak Out Against Proposed CATA Hike
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Officials from CATA Wednesday night held the second of four public hearings on a proposed fare hike.
It would double the price riders who hop on the bus in Delta Township would pay.
CATA leadership, including the CEO setting up shop inside the Delta Township Library to get the public's reaction to the plan.
"They're interested to know what the proposal is and in many cases, as you would expect, wanting to know if it affects them." said Sandy Draggoo CATA CEO.
CATA wants to up the prices because property owners in Delta Township don't pay a CATA millage like those in many neighboring Ingham County communities.
