Atheist group holds state convention in Ann Arbor
Comments 0 | Recommend 0ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - A national atheist leader will speak to an affiliated group of Michigan atheists at its state convention in Washtenaw County.
American Atheists Inc. President Ed Buckner is the scheduled keynote speaker at Michigan Atheists' convention Saturday. The gathering in Ann Arbor, about 30 miles west of Detroit, also includes speeches by Sean Faircloth of the Secular Coalition of America and Dr. Vivek Palavali, a surgeon, author and filmmaker.
American Atheists describes itself as a "nationwide movement that defends civil rights for nonbelievers."
