According to a new report, sixty-thousand jobs could come to our state if we invest in the green energy field.

The research was unveiled on Tuesday by environmental groups, energy advocates and business owners.

The report examines the benefits of a rapid program called the Green Energy Marshall Plan for both private and public investments in clean energy transition.

The authors of the report estimate this combination of private and public investments, aimed at jump starting a low carbon economy, would create two million jobs throughout the country over a two year program.
