East Lansing Art Festival

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

The 45th annual East Lansing Art Festival hits the streets this weekend.

The festival and craft show features more than 200 artists from across the country.

Kate Lake of the University Activities Board had this to say about the events, "These are two great shows, they start about the same time in the early 60's and the East Lansing art festival is a little different, they've got the food and the music and we are all completely arts and crafts. Two different coordinators, two great shows, one great weekend."

Both shows run all weekend long.  Hours are 10AM-6PM on Saturday and 10AM to 5PM on Sunday.

Several streets in downtown East Lansing will be closed to accomodate crowds: Albert Ave. from Charles St. to Evergreen Ave will be closed; MAC Ave. will be closed from Grand River Ave. to Albert Ave.; and Abbot Rd. from Grand River to Linden will be closed as well.
