Home Invasions Hit Ionia

 The Ionia County Sheriff's Department is asking residents to be on the look out, after a number of home invasions there.

Officials say the perpetrators are entering both locked and unlocked un-occupied homes during the morning or early afternoon hours and targeting easy to steal items.

The homes selected are typically on secondary roads without many neighbors.

While several suspects have been identified, and arrests have been made in some of the cases, officials say there are still more criminals at large.
