Lansing police say the man who assaulted an MSU student has been arraigned in district court.

They say 25-year-old Jason Harris assaulted a 19-year-old woman walking from the MSU library to Campbell Hall on October 6th.

They say Harris held a pocket-knife to her throat and when he saw two men walking toward them he released the woman and fled the scene.

Harris is being held at the Ingham County Jail on $50,000 bond.
