Farmers Market at State Capitol

The 4th annual "Buy Fresh, Buy Local - Select Michigan" Farmers Market was held on the Capitol lawn.
The event featured about 50 local farmers and food producers.
Those at the market say its very important to support local businesses.
"I do believe it is the second leading industry here in Michigan. We also need to eat every day so I believe that's quite important," Project Fresh Representative, Mike Manikas said.
The Select Michigan Farmers Market is held each year in borth Lansing and Detroit.
