Lansing Murder Arraignment
Two people were arraigned today for the murder of a homeless man.
43-year-old Tammy Verdon, who is also homeless, is charged with open murder and could spend life in prison.
Officials say she stabbed 55-year-old David Lloyd Melvin to death Monday night outside the Veterans of America in Lansing.
47-year-old John Belin was also arraigned. Police tell ABC 3 Belin was an accessory in the murder. He faces up to five years in prison.
Both will be back in court next week.
