Alleged Hit Man Resumes Fight to Spike Confessions

The lawyer for Vincent Smothers is trying to have the confessions thrown out.
Gabi Silver says police wore down her client after his arrest and threatened to charge his wife unless he cooperated.
Police deny it.
Wayne County Circuit Judge Craig Strong is to resume the hearing Monday.
In statements to police, Smothers says he was paid $60,000 as a killer-for-hire in 2006 and 2007.
He told investigators that all but one of the victims were involved in drugs.
The 28-year-old Smothers is facing six trials in the eight deaths.
