Another effort underway Wednesday to save a west Michigan program aimed at helping at-risk youths.

The Battle Creek based Michigan Youth Challenge Academy is in serious jeopardy as lawmakers look to balance our state's budget.

Wednesday, Representative Kate Segal, parents, program cadets and other supporters rallied at the capitol to save the program.

"We've had such great success really changing their lives that we're very proud of the work that's been done over the past 10 years," Said Major General Tom Cutler.
