The state democratic party denounced a meeting between former presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Tim Walberg at a Lansing fundraiser.

At Wednesday's event, Romney explained to voters why representative Walberg is the best man for the job.

"This is a person, Tim Walberg, who will get Michigan's economy running again and that's something that the entire nation wants to see happen," said Romney.

Walberg and Romney share similar policies as those we have seen under the bush administration, something the state democrats say we can no longer afford to put up with.
