Fourth of July Shooting In Lansing

Police say a gunman in Ingham County opened fire in Comstock Park on the Fourth of July, sending two people to the hospital.

Lansing police tell us it happned around 10:30 P.M., Friday on the 900 block of Daleford Avenue.

They say gun shots hit a female in the back of the leg, and a male victim in the back, both were taken to the Saint Lawrence Campus of Sparrow Hospital where they are recovering.

Officials say they have no suspects at this time, but tell us they believe the gunshots were intentional, and meant for someone specific.
