Taking you to Jackson County where six people are recovering from injuries following an accident there Tuesday.

Officials tell us it happened on Hague Avenue around 8 p-m.

They say 36 year old Shelly Keinath was driving South on Hague and when she tried to turn left, she was struck by a 16 year old driver from michigan center headed in the opposite direction.

Keinath's vehicle was pushed into a tree and the second vehicle flipped onto its roof.

Six passengers were involved all were wearing seatbelts and are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Officials say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
