Wings Looking to Eliminate Stars!

The Detroit Red Wings are ready to eliminate the Dallas Stars and earn a spot in the Stanley Cup finals for the first time since

winning a title in 2002. Detroit, which leads the best-of-seven series 3-1, hosts Dallas on Saturday in Game 5. Detroit set a

franchise record by winning nine straight games in a postseason before losing 3-1 Wednesday night in Dallas.

Red Wings forward Tomas Holmstrom says Detroit ``would be stupid'' if they didn't finish off the Stars as soon as they can.

The Red Wings are 7-0 at home and 11-3 overall in the playoffs.
