Prince of The Palace helping Pistons at both ends
DETROIT (AP)
Detroit Piston Tayshaun Prince is taking initiative and that's making a big difference in his game. That's according to Pistons
president of basketball operations Joe Dumars, who says the lanky 6-foot-9, 215-pound forward's smarts, commitment and
toughness epitomize what a Piston should be.
Prince is averaging 16 points in the playoffs _ trailing only teammate Richard Hamilton in scoring. He also is shooting a
personal-high 56 percent from the field. No one in NBA history has appeared in more playoff games through
their first six postseasons than Prince. His 108 games breaks Byron Scott's mark of 106. The Pistons will face either Boston or
Cleveland in the Eastern Conference finals.
