Tolisano tallies five in Lansing win

LANSING - John Tolisano went 2-for-4 with five RBI Monday night in Lansing's 6-2 victory over the Great Lakes Loons before 2,813 f
ans at Oldsmobile Park. The win gave the Lugnuts the series triumph and also secured a winning record against the Loons for the
season at 8-6.
The game was tied 1-1 in the fourth inning when Tolisano smacked a two-out double off of the left-center field wall that scored Mike
McDade and Eric Eiland, putting Lansing up 3-1.
Tolisano added to his total two innings later when he struck again with two outs. With two men on, he drilled a three-run homer onto
the concourse past the berm in left field, making it a 6-1 game. The dinger was his fourth of the season.
Chi-Hung Cheng (4-4) got his first win as a starting pitcher this season. He hurled five innings, giving up one run on six hits. Cheng
fanned three batters and walked just one in the start.
Edgar Estanga and Michael Barbara combined to finish the game for the Lugnuts, allowing just one run between them over four
frames.
Daigoro Rondon (4-8) suffered the loss for the Loons after allowing three runs in four innings of work.
Lansing (51-38, 12-7) will take Tuesday off before returning to action Wednesday night at Oldsmobile Park when they host the
Cedar Rapids Kernels. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
