Streaking Spartans set to host Ohio State & Kansas

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) _ Michigan State's men's basketball

team traditionally improves during its winter break.

This season has been no exception, and it has helped the

Spartans climb back toward their pre-season ranking.

Michigan State is No. 8 in latest The Associated Press' Top 25

poll and has won seven straight since being routed by North

Carolina.

The Spartans are 11-2 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten.

They host Ohio State tomorrow night and defending national

champion Kansas on Saturday.
